Currently, I have been doing physio to increase the strength of my ACL during this recovery period. This involves strengthening sessions, as well as hiking which has a direct positive impact on my knee.

- To whom it may concern, "I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard…” - Oprah Winfrey In my experience at British International College over the past years, few students have the hallmarks of resilience, responsibility and hard work all held together with trustworthiness, honesty, and authenticity. This unique fingerprint, as well as an unrelenting belief in her own talents and abilities is what sets Olivia Hardie apart from all the others in her year. Olivia has been a part of the College for the past few years coming up from our Preparatory School up until this year in her A levels. During this time, Olivia has impressed on me her unwavering resolve and values. She is a student whose understanding of hard work, responsibility and determination is unusual for her age. She is a strong academic, pursuing all avenues of investigation before drawing conclusions and inferences. She enjoys lively debate and looks for opportunities to grow and progress. She seeks tasks that challenge her, and she is an engaging member of the class. Olivia is an exceptional strength and support to all who know her, even during some of the hardest times she has faced personally. She is candid and positive, supportive and kind and I will miss her radiance in my class. She brings resolve and a steady mind to her academic work. Olivia has impressed everyone with her dedication to her future goals and her outstanding work ethic. This is evident in her achievements both scholastically and on the sports field. I have been struck by Olivia's humour in moments of uncertainty and her eagerness to always remain positive in all situations. She is a highly self-motivated individual, capable of thorough, critical and independent learning and thought. Kind regards, Claudia Meyer (Ms) Group Director of Studies British International College
